ONE MORE WEEK!

there's only one more week left of the summer program. This program went by so fast that i didn't even notice it. i wouldn't change any part of this program because it made me grow and learn more. I'm so blessed to be in this program and get payed!, in other words getting payed for learning. Alomost 15!!!!!

For latina girls being 15 is in most cases on of the biggest celebrations in their lives.I have made some research on it and this was a celebrations for young girl to show that they passed from girls to women. In the U.S is 16th bday.my bday is the 29th and im very happy to know that as a latina girl im going to be a young women! and this is to all my latinas out there! you should feel proud of your culture and feel proud of being 15!!!

College Bound Radio

College bound radio is going to be a very good radio station. This station is going to be directly to teens from 14-17 years old. We have to keep in mind that there will be people from many different ages and backgrounds listening to us. This radio station is going to have many different segments. For education,gossip,entertainment, and much more. We want this radio station to be attracting to teens out there that don't really know about college bound. We want to encourage them to make a difference in society in all kinds of ways. We are going to try our best to encourage and help teens achieve their dreams!

hackensack river keeper watershed

Science trip was very exciting. The fact that i had never ride a boat and this was my first time was pretty amazing. I loved every part of the field trip, the boat ride, fishing , the food, and most of all the information we got out of it. On the boat ride i saw different types of birds. I found out why the water there is green and why in the carribean is clear water. I also saw different bridges and we passed by them. We also made mountain ranges out of paper. We colored the high points one color and the river banks another and last sprinkled water.The best part was sitting down on the dock and putting my feet on the water. I t was amazing and i really enjoyed it. Thank you HCCC!!

Micheal Jackson

Micheal Jackson was the king of pop. it's very sad to see how he left his 3 kids without his protection. Not economically speaking but the love of a father can never be replaced with money. Yesterday night they showed his tribute. It was sad how his daughter cried saying how much she loved him. I think about my father who i lived with all my life death, and it will be devastating for me. The sad part is that he left his kids so young. his daughter Paris , who is the oldest one is only 11 years old!! all i can do is wish the best for them and God Bless them!:}
